CRDA Extension Update

We are pleased to share with you the following update, from our Board of Trustees, on the building plans at Cotswold RDA:

The plans for our wonderful extension at the arena to provide so many extra facilities for us all are proceeding. Trustees have been working for hundreds of hours with planners, architects and surveyors to make our vision a reality. We will have a new entrance, office, classrooms and warm waiting rooms for riders, and space for volunteers to eat their lunch.

As anyone who has had a home extension knows these things take time and careful planning! We have very special needs so that all our riders, and their families, have the access and comfort they deserve. The trustees have to manage all the charity’s finances carefully to make sure this scheme is the very best value for money. The build is now planned for 2025 in the spring giving us time to ensure we have the design and specifications exactly as we need them. We will also have time to raise the extra funds we need to be able to pay for this ambitious scheme.

The build will involve ceasing lessons for some weeks so more careful planning needed there so we cause our riders minimum disruption. This is a very exciting project and will give us the ability to offer so much more to our riders and their families.
