What else can I do?

Like any other “business” there is always plenty that needs doing. If any of our other roles don’t quite fit but you would still like to be involved, then perhaps you might have some DIY skills, as we always need shelves moving or putting up, fences that need painting, the list is endless. 

Or perhaps you are a good public speaker and like engaging with people. We are always looking for people who will travel around Gloucestershire talking about our work to small groups and organisations such as the WI, Probus clubs and similar. We have a full presentation to support the talk, it really is a great opportunity to help raise awareness of our work and help funding. We have received several large donations through such talks.

Or how about a spot of fresh air down in our fields, with more than a dozen ponies you can imagine there is quite a lot of “waste” which has to be collected from the fields on a daily basis and taken to our “muck heap”, its great exercise and if you are happy to work on your own then this might be perfect for you.
