Why fundraise for us?

Each week we provide riding or other horse-based therapy to over 200 participants of all ages with a physical or mental disability. We know our work has a huge impact on their physical ability and horsemanship and also helps in other areas of their lives such as their ability to communicate, build relationships and engage with education.

To keep this work going we need to raise around £130,000 every year to cover our costs, including looking after our herd of very special ponies.

Helping us to raise funds is a great way to make a difference to the lives of our riders and also for you and your family and friends to have some fun as well! If you are interested in fundraising for us, please download a copy of our Fundraising Pack which is full of ideas and some promotional materials – we are always here to help so if you need any help or advice then please give us a call on 01242 584420.

Do something amazing: challenge yourself, get fit, gather your family or friends for a great evening of entertainment. There are so many great ideas that can help raise much needed funds for us – why not have a go?

Other ways you can help fundraise

VIP Volunteer

Become a VIP Volunteer join in and experience the excitement of working at the Gold Cup Festival. Working with Jockey Club Catering we have opportunities for anyone to join the catering team providing top class hospitality to race goers. JCC will donate a very generous amount to Cotswold RDA in return for your time.

Bucket Collecting

We have so many opportunities where we need people like you to give up a few hours during the year to help out. We are extremely fortunate to be able to “bucket collect” at several major events at the Cheltenham Racecourse including Gold Cup, it’s a great day out and loads of fun and the more volunteers we have the more money we raise

Why not just join in?

Just taking part in some of our fundraising activities makes a big difference.  Our “Race & Chips” night has been an outstanding success over the last few years, the more the merrier.  It’s a great evening out and loads of fun.
